For the first time in two years, the planet Mars has entered the sign of Virgo where it will be until October 4th. Mars likes to be the leader and in this case, it’s definitely taken that position as a number of planets are following along a few days behind as they enter Virgo. By the end of the month on August 30th, we will have the New Moon in Virgo and lined up along side of it will be Mars, Venus and Mercury. This is a significant gathering of five planets in one sign of the zodiac.

Here’s what it means. Firstly with Mars in Virgo we take initiative and act towards all Virgo matters. Those would be health, tidying up and work, lots of work. Virgo presides over our every day chores and tasks, our job we do every day, our routine. It’s our health, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. With Mars we have more ambition towards these matters, we consider them more, we take action to improve these matters. Virgo matters are often taken for granted in our lives, we expect we will feel well enough to go to work every day, we expect to maintain our jobs that we assume will always be there for us. We get into habits and routines and then when Mars comes along and 4 other planets join it in Virgo, suddenly we notice the routine gets shaken a bit. We aren’t as comfortable or something comes up where one of these matters gets our attention. Then we embark on a journey to improve this area of our lives.

The New Moon on August 30th is at 6° Virgo, Mercury will be at 2°, Mars will be at 7°, Venus will be at 11°, while the Moon will pass over all these planets in its journey throughout the day. This is definitely considered a conjunction, even if Mercury is 9° earlier than Venus, The Sun, Moon and Mars connect them. If you are a Virgo or have planets at this point in the zodiac, you will feel this major conjunction more strongly.

These planets are connecting powerfully with the other planets. They will make a trine, which is a positive, flowing aspect with Uranus, which is at 6° Taurus and an approaching trine to Saturn in Capricorn. This puts a further stamp on the earth energy at the New Moon. That’s 7 planets simultaneously in earth! A profoundly rare occurrence and telling us that this is all about manifesting something in our world. It will also help us contend with the backdrop of Saturn & Pluto’s intensity. The smoothness of the trine aspect will help us assimilate Saturn & Pluto’s demand that we own our mastery and talents. Jupiter and Chiron are in fire and Neptune is in water - but there are no planets in air signs. This means don’t overthink it, in fact, don’t think, just take action instead. Bring something tangible and real into your life. Make something happen. It’s time to get stuff accomplished.

Each of us has some work to do - that’s what the universe is telling us, either we need to start that exercise routine, initiate new work projects, look for a new job, clear the clutter and get the feng shui in order. The line up of planets in Virgo are moving towards making a T-square in the following days with Jupiter in its own sign of Sagittarius and Neptune in its own sign of Pisces. A T-square is an aspect that requires us to move energy, again taking action. But this is an interesting relationship as Jupiter and Neptune are planets of spirit. They carry more power since they are in their own signs that they rule. It indicates that what we are feeling, intuiting, dreaming of in the ethers can be manifested on the earth by moving this energy, with this T-square. Whatever you have been wanting to happen, wanting to create, this is the time to do it! We will feel the beginnings of this T-square on the 30th when the Moon opens the door to it. After that, Venus will enter the arrangement starting on September 1st, then one by one Mercury, Sun and eventually Mars will all hit that point, one by one. This will occur during the first 10-12 days of September. So, we have plenty of opportunity to take advantage of this energy available to us to accomplish much in our lives.

Writing a manifestation statement is an excellent way to bring these elements into your life. When doing this it should be very specific - state exactly how your wishes manifest. If you want a new relationship, list the ways you will meet that person and be very specific about what qualities they should have. Don’t leave out any details. If you want more money, list the amount with which you are comfortable and how this money arrives in your life, whether through your business ventures, a side business to your regular job, a raise at work - again, be very specific. If you want to improve your health, list the particular ways that it will happen. Whatever you want to create can be yours now, just focus and commit to your view of it. Just don’t waste this energy!

CONNECTING WITH THE EARTH ELEMENT
